We haven’t posted in a while! but things have been busy here at Oh Deer headquarters, we are so excited to announce that we have a new online boutique store in the works, set to open in March!
This afternoon we ventured to a pretty grassy field for a photoshoot of Michael & I to use for the ‘about us’ section of our new online boutique. It was a race to capture the afternoon light before it disappeared! Here is a silly out-take from in between shots, which we will probably end up using anyway :)

VINTAGE NEST
We’re home from our little roadtrip up the Coast with three car loads of friends. Where we enjoyed having a small break from the office; swimming in the ocean, underneath fresh waterfalls, snorkelling, beach cricket, strolls and afternoon tea & scones by the lake.
On our way to Dangar Waterfalls, we stopped in a little town called Bellingen, and what a cute little town it is! the buildings and signage still reminiscent of the 50’s and 60’s. To our surprise we stumbled across the most wonderful vintage store we’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting - The Vintage Nest.
Vintage Nest not only sell vintage clothing & accessories, but are also a small cafe/coffee shop with delicious coffee and cakes. There is soooo much to look & browse at in this wonderful shop (we even went back for a second visit) They have very reasonably priced garments, so many amazing collectables, even the second-hand furniture in the cafe is for sale!
Vintage nest has an amazing vibe & atmosphere, featuring heritage-listed ceilings, chandeliers, old bicycles, suitcases, sewing machines, picture frames, cameras, books & records, lamps and knick-knacks galore!
So if you are ever passing-by or in Coffs Harbour, we strongly suggest you take a little time to pass through Bellingen and visit Vintage Nest/Espresso, it is a must for any vintage-lover or admirer!

AUGUST MARKETS
Our August markets were our favourite yet, the weather was finally warm enough to set up the stalls outdoors in the beer gardens, amongst the sunshine, right across the road from Terrigal Beach - the sunshine coupled with the beautiful fresh ocean breeze was the perfect start to such a wonderful day!
We really weren’t expecting so many visitors and such positive reception! The markets were buzzing from before we had even finished setting up the stall! It's hard to believe this is work when we have so much fun - especially when we get to enjoy gourmet meals & Cider whilst working amongst the sunshine.
We really hope those of you who stopped in enjoyed it and love your new vintage treasures. Here’s some photos that we managed to quickly snapped before we opened! we can’t wait till next month! oh, and we are also looking into doing some Sydney markets during Spring/Summer, fingers crossed we can get ourselves a spot!

A VISIT TO BONDI MARKET
We awoke to a beautiful sunny day on Sunday, there was no way we could stay indoors! so we decided to take a day trip to visit some Sydney markets. We headed to Rozelle first, as we’d been told it’s specifically all second-hand/vintage & antiques.
Unfortunately we hit a very random hailstorm before we got there - so many of the stalls were packing up as we arrived, but we still had a look around and found a few wonderful hidden treasures!
We then headed to Bondi markets, which were buzzing and had so much amazing art, and independent designers, and some amazing vintage stores down the back.
I wish I took more photos now, but was so caught up looking through all the amazing racks of clothes, so here’s just a snippet of our visit to the markets:
